First of all, thank you for your ongoing support this year. It’s hard to believe that timetabled classes are nearly coming to an end for 2023!
Below are the comms that have just been sent out to our student whānau via email. Please ensure your young person has checked their inbox and has read it carefully. The final countdown is on!!

Well done for making it this far!
Tomorrow there are a series of assemblies happening in the Theatre.
Please go directly to your Tutor group then:
9.10 – Year 11s doing exams go to the Theatre
9.30 – Year 12s doing exams go to the Theatre
10.00 – ALL Year 13 students go to the Theatre
Looking ahead… read this bit very very closely
This is an email to ensure you know what is happening next week and what is expected of you. Over the coming days, your Tutor will be emailing home to signal if you be signed out for study leave at the end of next week. All students are expected to attend school until they have attended their Year-level learning celebration. If you have not been signed out we expect you to attend workshops in Week Five until you have reached your academic goal.
Important Notes
All Year 11s and 12s are expected to attend their Learning Celebration on Thursday.
All Year 13s are expected to attend the Year 13 Graduation and Learning Celebration. This is a new expectation, please stress that every Year 13 will receive their graduation certificate at this event so they must all attend and dress smartly!
The plan for Week Four
Monday 30th October
Normal school day. Be here!
Tuesday 31st October
Normal school day.
Tutor time – please continue to work with your Tutor to see if you are ready to be signed out at the end of the week AND make a plan for Wednesday Workshops.
Wednesday 1st November
Wednesday workshops. All students are expected to be at school.
Thursday 2nd November
Tutor time – all students in Tutor celebrating your tutor group and the leavers in your Tutorial group. There will be shared kai in communities.
Year 13s leave for the day at the end of Period 1.
Year 12s can leave but must come back for their Learning celebration at 1.30 pm.
11.00 – Year 11 Learning Celebration commences in the Theatre. All year 11s attend.
1.30 – Year 12 Learning Celebration commences in the Theatre. All Year 12s attend.
Friday 3rd November
9.30 ALL Year 13s to meet in their Tutorial groups with their Tutor
9.35 REWAREWA & KARAKA 5C &5D go to the Theatre and students sit in Tutorial groups.
9.40 TĀNEKAHA & PŪRIRI 4C &4D go to the Theatre and students sit in Tutorial groups.
9.45 KAHIKATEA & MIRO 4A & 4B go to the Theatre and students sit in Tutorial groups.
9.50 TŌTARA & KAURI 3A & 3B go to the Theatre and students sit in Tutorial groups.
10.00 Year 13 Graduation and Learning Celebration commences
12.00ish – Year 13 Graduation and Learning Celebration ends and students and whānau leave
Week 5 onwards
All students who have been signed out for study leave are not expected to return to school for learning after Friday 3rd November.
Any students who haven’t been signed out need to work with their Tutor and Specialist Subject teachers to make time to meet and complete any outstanding work.

Friday 2nd February – Year 11 only attend and pōwhiri
Monday 5th February – Full school timetable begins
