Learning dialogues
These are a great opportunity to hear your young person talk about their learning. One of the big aims with learning dialogues is to support students to develop a sense of agency in their learning both in how they experience it right now and how it might connect with their future. The link below will take you to a booking page where you can select your young person’s tutor. The learning dialogues are taking place on Thursday afternoon and evening this week and Tuesday afternoon next week.

Prelim exams
Prelim exams are beginning on Thursday next week. They continue for four days and finish on the Tuesday in the following week. It is important that your young person knows which prelims they are doing. If they need further support with this or with any other question, their tutor is the best person to talk to. You could also discuss this during learning dialogues as each subject is discussed. Please use the link below if you would like a copy of the prelims timetable.

Impact Project Celebration of Excellence in week ten
Students work really hard to present their impact projects for this important part of the school year. Put aside the evening of the 25th of September, in the last week of term, to support our students in celebrating their projects. The first part of the evening will give you an opportunity to see the wide range of impressive project outcomes and learning. This will be followed by a celebration of excellence and the announcement of our top impact projects for 2024.
Dance showcase: Alchemy
The ASHS 2024 dance showcase took place last week: Alchemy. All three dance classes contributed to an amazing evening of stunning dancing and choreography.
