School closed Monday and Tuesday next week and upcoming workshop!

Just a quick newsletter to let you know that the school will be closed for two days next week – Monday we are closed for Kings Birthday weekend and Tuesday is a Staff Only Day across the Albany area.

Arletta is a counsellor, originally from the Netherlands, but has been living and working in Aotearoa New Zealand since 2011. She has a passion for Autism and working with Neurodiverse youth and adults. In her private practice she supports young people and their families, as well as autistic adults, working with their strengths and interests, supporting mental health, independence and what a good life looks like for the individual person. Next to this, Arletta provides training and Professional development on Autism-related topics for education, mental health providers, workplaces, and communities.
In her own words: “My previous work at the Children’s Autism Foundation, as well as the training, workshops, and Masters in Autism Studies has provided me with a solid understanding of autism. But most importantly, I learn from my clients and their families every day.”
Arletta will be sharing her knowledge and experience in the areas of autism, anxiety, and emotional regulation at our workshop on the 19th of June.
