The countdown is on! There are only four weeks of school left this term and another four weeks next term before students begin study leave. A reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, school finishes at 12.40 to make time for Learning Dialogues. 

Prelims start next week!

All of our students will be on study leave from Thursday 7th September through to and including Tuesday 12th September for our Preliminary Exam block.

Students from Y11-13 will have had discussions with their class teachers about which external standards they are attempting in the end-of-year NCEA exams.  Based on those discussions, students may be completing practice exams (prelim exams) or workshops specifically addressing the requirements of the standard.

Students are only required to be on campus if they are completing an exam or a workshop. The school is open if they wish to progress their own work independently.

Prelim exams will be held at the SOUTH end of the building (3A, 3B, 4A, 4B,).
All students need to bring their school photo ID, A plastic bag with pens, pencils, an eraser, and a ruler. Students must be responsible with their mobile phones and other electronic devices (including watches)
Turn them off.  Take the watch off (better not to bring it) Put them in their bag.
If a phone goes off in an exam, it may end up with the student being removed!

On the day of an exam – 
Arrive at 8:30 for morning exams (9-12 pm)
Arrive at 12:30 for afternoon exams (1-4 pm)
