Kia ora e te whānau,

In the last day and a half ASHS has pulled out all of the stops to come up with a plan that we hope will meet the variety of needs of our young people, community and staff. We have worked hard to create a plan that balances the need for supporting our young people on site with the need to do so as safely as we can. Please take the time to read the plan carefully. There is a lot of information to digest. I encourage you to sit down with your young person and make a personal plan with them. Please don’t hesitate to contact their Tutor if you would like any further support or have any specific queries regarding their academic targets for the year.

Once again, please rest assured that all staff at Albany Senior High School are working towards being fully vaccinated and all staff onsite will be required to return a negative test before returning to school. We will also ensure we have safety measures in place such as mandatory mask wearing, regular hand and surface cleaning, increased ventilation and as much social distancing as possible.
