Kia ora whanau,
Welcome to Week Five and the second to last whanau newsletter for the year!
At the end of last week you would have received an email letting you know if your young person will be returning to school beyond Week Five. If you did get an email please support us in ensuring they attend as this is their final opportunity to be supported to meet their academic goals for 2020.
This week we will be farewelling our Year 13s, and will be running our annual prizegiving events. Students who are not returning to complete internals will be released on study leave after the prizegiving ceremonies.
Note – If your young person is receiving a prize you will have received an email inviting you to come along.
Prizegiving times are below:
Sports Prizegiving – Monday 9th November 5.30pm
Year 12 Prizegiving – Tuesday 10th November 9.15am
Year 11 Prizegiving – Tuesday 10th November 11.00am
Year 13 Premier Prizegiving – Wednesday 11th November – 10.00am
All the best to our fabulous Year 13s. We look forward to officially farewelling them tomorrow and then celebrating academic successes later in the week. The school ball will take place after the exams, being held at the Hilton on the Auckland Waterfront on Saturday 12th December.
It was lovely to see so many Year 13s dressed up on Friday. We remind all of our young people that this week is an opportunity to “leave well”. Here’s to a fabulous last week!
Go forth and support others to nurture, inspire, and empower!!
