ASHS Swimming Sports Day

Our first swimming sports day on Monday 9th March was a success! We had 26 competitors who raced in all the common strokes over 50, 100 and 200 metres. We also included an individual medley where students displayed impressive skills in all the four strokes. All competitors performed well, however two students stood out, Melanie Thomson and Rosie Howard produced great times in their events. Melanie specialises in Freestyle and Backstroke, whereas Rosie races in Butterfly and Breaststroke.

North Harbour Swimming Zones

Both Melanie and Rosie qualified for the North Harbour Zones. It was a great atmosphere at the Millennium on Thursday 26th March. Both girls put on an impressive performance against all the top students from the local area.
